The Curriculum

There are Early Learning Goals that most children are expected to achieve by the end of the foundation stage (normally end of reception year at school) . These are recorded in the Pebbles profiles as a record of your child's development and as a parent you will be able to view and discuss this at any time with your child's Key Worker.

These goals are organised into six areas of learning and provide the basis for planning the pre-school activities. The areas of learning are: -

Personal, social and emotional development,

Communication, language and literacy,

Mathematical development,

Knowledge and understanding of the world,

Physical development and

Creative development.

The pre-school aims to provide a range of opportunities and activities to enhance different areas of development and meet the needs of the children that attend.
