Mrs Dalgleish joined CAPs in 2023 and works full time at CAPs as Leader and Designated Safeguarding Lead. She has a husband and two children. She is passionate in making sure that each child develops at their optimum level, she is a firm advocate for the development of the “whole” child and ensuring that children have a solid foundation in education. Outside of Pre-school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as baking. | |
Mrs Williams has been in the childcare sector for 14 years and works full time at CAPs as a Pre-school Deputy Leader and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. She has a husband and a child. She has a real passion for child development and supporting them to become more independent. Outside of Pre-school she enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing netball for Cold Ash in the Newbury League. | |
Mrs Terry has been with CAPs for 13 years; she is our Senior Pre-school Practitioner, has been in the childcare sector for 25 years and is passionate about early years development, often spending her spare time researching new ideas and practices. Mrs Terry works at the Pre-school 4 days a week and likes to support the children to become confident, independent individuals that have skills to be able to think for themselves and problem solve. Her interests and hobbies are art/craft, yoga, Reiki and photography. | |
Mrs Barnes works with us part time as a Pre-school Practitioner. She has been at CAPs for over 7 years. She did her NNEB (Level 3) at Norland College when it was in Denford near Hungerford and holds the prestigious Norland Diploma and NAMCW. She is also our Pre-school SENCo and has completed her Early Years SENCo qualification as well as a SEN Diploma. She has spent many years working as a private nanny for families in their homes with children from Newborn to 16 years as well as running her own parent and toddler group. In her own time, she enjoys spending time with her family (Husband and 3 boys) and her greyhound Puzzle. She loves to watch movies, go fishing and play card games with her youngest son as well as spending time socialising with friends or doing crafts. | |
Miss Chambers has been in early years childcare for over 10 years and has two children of her own. She works with us part time as a Pre-school Practitioner and is our ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant). In her spare time she enjoys walks with her puppy and spending lots of family time exploring new places. | |
Mrs Wyatt works with us part time as a Pre-school Practitioner. She has 3 children of her own. She enjoys doing painting and crafts with the children at Pre-school. Outside of Pre-school she enjoys baking and spending time with her family and pottering in the garden. | |
Mrs Fordham works with us part time as a Pre-school Practitioner. She has worked in the childcare sector for 24 years, including nurseries, child minding and in a school. She has three children of her own. She enjoys spending time making her garden pretty, sunny days on the paddleboard and having adventures with friends and family. | |
Mrs Wormald is our Pre-school Business Manager, she works with us part time keeping all the administration in order. Originally a CAPs parent and then Committee Trustee, Mrs Wormald learned what a lovely pre-school CAPs is and jumped at the chance to become more involved. She has been with us for 11 years and worked with staff and numerous committees to keep us on track to maintain our ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating. In her spare time Mrs Wormald enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doing a spot of gardening and going to the theatre. |
